The main theme of the VI National Meeting of APDR was "Regions and cities in the European Union: what future?" and over 150 participants presented more than 80 papers. Several of the presented papers focused in areas of investigation linked to regional, urban and local development other than the main theme. This Meeting took place in Braga, on the 1st and 2nd of July 1999.
