The VII National Meeting of APDR, whose main theme was "Development prospects for maritime regions", took place in Ponta Delgada, Azores, and joined more than 180 participants.Azores offered an inspiring and stimulating scenery for the scientific debate of the insularity problem whose specificness amid the regional development policies is aknowledged by the European Union.
