The aim of the workshop is also to stimulate the link between on the one hand, scientists who are devoted to the study of phenomena occurring in the territory and on the other hand, those responsible for making decisions related to land management.
Finally, because the operational models are guaranteed the unity implied in fact, the workshop on Operational Models of Regional Economics is also a unique moment of dialogue between the various disciplines involved in the study area: ecologists, planners, engineers, sociologists...
This workshop goes beyond the analysis of micro enterprises and households, usually treated in microeconomic models, and deepen the territorial dimensions that are invisible on the macroeconomic models used at national level.
Immediately after the workshop takes place one Advanced Course on Operating Models of Regional Economics where, with the assistance of international experts, you can further develop methodologies for modeling regional economies in particular for those who apply for and be selected to participate in the advanced course.
